Tom Brady is poised to enter the fashion game with his new fashion line BRADY set to launch on Jan. 12. The star Bucs quarterback announced Thursday that the brand will partner with nine college athletes and one recent draftee, including Michigan quarterback Cade McNamara and Shedeur Sanders, the son of former NFL star Deion Sanders, who plays football for his father at Jackson State.
Other athletes include: football players Grayson McCall (Coastal Carolina) and George Pickens (Georgia), tennis players Andrew Fenty (Michigan) and Patrick Zahraj (UCLA), hockey player Jack St. Ivany (Boston College) and basketball players Julian Reese (Maryland) and Jermaine Samuels (Villanova). Henry Davis, who was selected No. 1 in this year’s MLB Draft by the Pittsburgh Pirates, is also among the new faces of the brand.
“BRADY is proud to stand behind the next generation of greatness,” the company said on Instagram.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion co-founded the brand with fashion entrepreneur Jens Grede. Dao-Yi Chow, co-founder of the brand Public School, is a co-designer.
“Having these 10 athletes represent our first BRADY campaign is really special,” Brady told industry website WWD. “They are hardworking and driven players in the early stages of their careers and each one of them embodies the spirit and ethos in which our brand was founded.”
